From Dan Raney
I found out a few hours ago about Margaret, and wanted to let you know how sad that makes me. I know that your memories are much fuller, but I always remember Margaret as a wonderful little nine year old running around the house, raising havoc; or playing the "Guess Who" board game, trying to let her win without letting her know you're letting her win. Just a marvelous personality who I'm sure grew up to be someone very special. I wish I had more space, but please know you and your family are in my thoughts.
Best,
Dan
The Rose Bowl.
The bleachers for Monday night softball.
The Crown and Anchor when she told me what she'd be fighting the next year of her life.
There has always been a constant with Margaret since the day we met; that wonderful smile of hers. Of all the things I took from the last few years of our friendship it was that she was the most selfless person I'd ever known. Her smile told you that she didn't want your pity, she wanted a beer and a conversation. She wasn't going to let this beat her, "I'm going to kick cancer's ass!".
Margaret's life will never be defined by cancer. She was an amazing woman and an amazing friend. We all knew that before she was diagnosed, but despite what she fought through, those qualities never faded, never once took a back seat. I'd visit her and Brian in Katy while she was undergoing treatment and before I had a chance to say anything she'd ask how I was doing. How was work, how was life, how's the softball team doing? You knew the answer before you even asked her "I'm doing great!"
Margaret, you've shown me what it takes to be a remarkable person. Thank you for that. You'll be truly missed.

From Jamie Wallace
Friends,
Some of you may remember when I participated in the 2006 LiveSTRONG Challenge in Colorado. I rode in her honor of a friend during her fight with cancer. Well, my friend, Margaret lost her fight with cancer on 30 July. I have decided to get back on the bike and ride in memory of Margaret in the 2008 LiveSTRONG Challenge in Austin.
I will be riding the 65 mile ride in her memory on 26 October.
Your support is very important to me as I ride in memory of my friend and the millions of others that are affected by cancer in one form or another.
Please visit my fundraising web-site below when you get a chance and thank you for consideration in donating to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
Sincerely,
Jamie

Margaret will be missed by many...
I loved working with Margaret at 360training! She was ALWAYS the first person to go out of her way to help with any and every project we had. But more importantly, she kept a warm/beautiful smile on her face and brought joy to everyone around her. She also knew my weakness – if I was having a rough day, I would walk away from my desk and magically Rolo’s would appear on my desk upon my return! I would walk by Margaret’s desk and she would just smile and me as if to say, “Chocolate makes it all better.”
I am blessed to have known her – thank you for this forum and for allowing me to share my memories of your amazing sister.
